Golf Shoes on Courses
Golf Shoes on Courses
Can somebody (Westygolfpro or friend!!) let me know whether any of the courses have restrictions on Metal spikes in golf shoes. I have a pair of shoes out in Portugal with metals and was wondering whether a spare set of black widows or the like would be a wise investment if I was to venture out on the links?

I beleive that metal SpiKes are no allowed on many courses and certainly frowned on almost everywhere.
We changed to plastic years ago.

Hi Jimmy,
I have it on good authority, soft spikes only, unless you are Tiger Woods or someone of that ilk, in which case you can do what you want.
