Has anyone been contacted by a group of doctors from India looking to book accomodation in March 2008 .

I had a nice Nigerean man trying to buy a motorbile we had for sale. He was such a nice man even offered to send us a cheque to cover the cost of the bike, shipping and our hours wasted sorting out the paperwork.

We got the cheque and were supposed to send him the bike whilst waiting for cheque to go through. We had an English address and phone number. He kept emailing us telling us sad stories about his pregnant wife falling down the stairs and discovering she had cancer, how someone had hacked into his pc and stolen his info, etc.

Needless to say we didn't fall for it. I googled his name, email and phone number. He's (or they've) been at it for ages and go for all sorts of things from race horses to bikes!

So Mr Peter Whitie, if you're out there

Shame its a scam as they could have added some expert comments to the best curry debate in the Restuarant review!!
