heating
heating
Hi All
We bought an apartment this year in Portimao. Has anyone got any advice about heating it during the cold winter evenings. We don't have a fire place or central heating. What i'm looking for is an inexpensive method which throws out lots of heat, but also, as we have young grandchildren, I don't want it to burn them if they try to touch it.

WE use these oil fired rads in our bedrooms but I could not say that they push enough heat on cold evenings.
We do however have an electric fan heater which is more efficient.
( Both now replaced by a combined aircon/heating system )
I think that anyone renting in an ALGARVE winter should be aware that is does get very chilly and ALWAYS check that the property you intend renting has heating.
