Nightlife in November

Post by twitchy »

I am coming out to CVO in November with some friends to play golf. Only ever been out previously during peak times, so can anyone tell me how busy it is or where to go locally that is lively ??

November

Twitchy,

I came out to play golf in Nov a couple of years back and we basically drank at Sully's and The Round Up. Neither were what you would say lively but good fun none the less with the staff in Sully's being good fun and very chilled.

Hope the weather behaves itself, we had one day or pouring rain and no golf after 7 holes and a day of on / off drizzle but we completed the round.

Still had good fun and great to be in the village.

Roll on January!!.

Tony.

We come out every November (and usually January) and mostly have good weather - certainly warmer than UK and quite often a lot of sun, warm enough to sunbathe in the afternoons. The golf is good although the courses can sometimes be quite busy. 50% to 60% of the restaurants are still open. Can't speak for the nightlife as gave that up years ago!

Lively night life and golf don't normally mix! Be sure to remember to bring your golf clubs or the wife might think you're up to no good!

thanks for the advice on this topic, I was worried we would have to go to Albufeira or Portimao to find some atmosphere. Now I just need to find a golf course that I can get round in under 100...
