property rentals non reisdents-short term rentals

Hi

Just joined this excellent forum. Anybody familair with present (if there is such a thing) Legislation relating to short term property rentals and non residents. I am in process of buying and apartment, and i keep getting confusing info and advise. May be someone out there can update me as to what is going on ,or how best to go about renting my small1 bedder while i am not using it, and abiding by the legislation..Can somebody recommend a reliable fiscal representation service providing company near lagoa,armacao ,?

Many of us use the etablished owner rental sites ( just google ownerrental ).
These certainly provide more than enough for the main season May-October.

AS for the legal aspects this could be a minefield

If you are on an established development this may already have a TOURSTIC LISCENCE in which case you shoud be covered providing your property meets their rules. emergency lighting,smoke alarms, fire safety equipment etc.

If NOT ???!!!!.

I will check out th e website you recommend. As per my property it is in a

block of apt. not with touristic license, so i will need to look into this bit deeper, and hope for the best. LONG LIVE BUREAUCRAZY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
