There's a shoe outlet shop on the N125 out of Lagoa towards Porches.

I have bought shirts from Modalfa which is atttached to Modelo, for very low prices, and have had no fit or quality problems. Even brought two back to UK. For designer label I have not found an alternative to Algarve Shopping, and Springfields. My son is a student and buys Aberchrombie & Fitch. I don't have the kind of money I give to him. :)

Von Von, I know a couple of small shops in Lagoa that sells shoes /clothes, that are quite 'fashionable'..one is about opposite the post-office, and theres another in same road further up on left handside.

Then as you leave that road, turning left theres another small shop with shoes on the corner of the side road that leads up to the big main church.

How about that shop in CVO(coming from beach) just before you get to Safari? They seems to do quite a lot of nice shoes in there? (I bought some ankle boots in there one winter)

Have you tried market stalls? You can often get a good pair quite cheap?
I bought a pair of heels on one and they lasted ages :)

There are any number of small shops in Portimao. Even I enjoyed looking around the shops there.

Forum Algarve on the outskirts of Faro has quite a few upmarket fashion shops and a downmarket C&A. Faro has a lot of individual shoe and clothes shops in the pedestrianised area opposite the harbour.

Hi Liz,
Springfieds is upstairs on Algarve Shopping and is a little up market from places like Modalfa. Quality is good but with prices to match. I have now become less designer label conscious. Maybe it is an age thing. :)

The only problem that I have with Portimao, is that I can find my way in to it, but have a problem finding my way out. So except for the large shopping centres, tend to avoid it. Algarve Shopping is much easier.
