Who has tried this place. Everytime I have passed by it is empty.

Is it that bad or expensive?

We think this is a very nice place to eat, staff very nice, always remember your name, think it is one of those places that unless you try it you just keep walking past as we did for about 10 years....give it a try....

Just back after 17 nights and had another fab night here, really good Port Steak, he uses Fillet and not salty at all.
Staff all really nice, and cannot understand why they not full all the time...

This is a really nice place and cannot understand why it is not busy, we are really upset they not open over the Christmas period as we wanted to book a big table.
Type of place that really deserves to be busy, clean. nice staff, nice food, and yet some of the other places are busy and are horrid...
Give it a try

We are one of those that have walked by for 10 years and always wonder why there is no action. They always keep the exterior painted nicely and that probably says alot about the place. Will definately give it a try this year. Thanks!

Same as the above really, Have looked at the menu for the last 4 years and then decided not to go in.
I think they need to brighten it up a little..always seems a bit dark and quiet!

But going by everybody's comments should have definately given it a try!

Love the place for a quiet meal. Great service, very good food and I think an excellent location. Can't quite understand why it does not attract more diners. I would most certainly give it a try although I noticed on Tuesday before we returned to UK that it was closed. May only be open weekends now.

Don't dismiss it becuase it is quiet.

Must agree with all the other reviews. I was pleased to see Xico's getting praise on the Forum. I was wondering if it was only my family that enjoyed dining here. Food and staff excellent.
