i have been tempted to wander down to the place near the International School - is it any good?

Is the ambulance at the picture for the horses? or for the riders who are falling in the mud

PS Someone told me that horsemeat tastes very good!

Annie, Gill is in fact Portuguese! she speaks perfect English tho' and some German.

I agree about the horses, they are good and if your husband got to ride the nice grey which is quiet fast he probably did have a good ride.

fmm I tend not to ride in August as it is just so hot but maybe I can be persuaded. Do you get to go out during the Autumn/Winter at all?? It is much nicer riding then when it is cooler, not just for us but for the horses too.

I get out for 2 weeks or so in August, then usually a weekend in September, November and a week in December/January. Then a weekend or two in March and April. If you fancy riding in August, perhaps we could do an early morning of evening ride which would be cooler. Otherwise I am more than happy to wait until later in the year if that would be nicer. I am just sick of riding in the rain at the moment!

I am just about to leave for a weekend in Portugal, will get back to you next week and we will try and organise something, I will contact you when we are back.

I know what you mean about this rain..... ugh!!!
