Last went about eight years ago, got ripped off on the wine, good to see we were right not to return.

We have eaten there twice, once with a teenager who would live on Pizza and another time with a senior citizen.

We have never had any complaints, both times we had lovely meals and very good service.

Perhaps, after reading the forum, we were just very very lucky.

Eaten there a few times, all of which were lovely meals. Can't imagine what you're all complaining about. Excellent food, very tasty. Good service and nice surroundings. Staff were friendly too. will definitley be going back. Beats Villa Medici.

I have eaten there a few times and really enjoyed my meals. I actually thought the garlic bread with cheese was very tasty and the Angus fillet steak was good too.

Im glad you enjoyed your meal there. Ive had 2 disasters...there wont be a 3rd.
I have to say, that I have seen and heard more negative comments about this particular restaurant than any other in Carvoeiro.

But each to his.....or her own!

Just a quick line, been back in CVO for the last 10 days with all the family we have now eaten at quite a few restaurants some of which were recommended on this forum but Via Italia up to now has been by far the best both service and quality first class !

Funnily enough!, I've never been a fan of Via Italia, but in July my husband and children gave it another go and were full of praise.
perhaps the staff has changed?

Hope so tricky, since we had a terrible meal there about 2 years ago, in the middle of winter, when few restaurants were open. Interesting to see if others have have found it improved.

Barry, we were there about 2 years ago and it was a disaster, overpriced for what it was, havent been back and probably wont go back, there are far too many other restaurants to pick and choose from. We love Indian food and have always found Indiano excellent, peshwari nan is highly recommended.

This is our nearest restaurant. Have not been for many years due to the bad service we received. My son is vegetarian and loves italian food so it would be great if it has changed - so will watch this space before going back again.

Have tried here over the last few years, we like the view so have kept trying, but the meal is always rushed then you can't get anyone to bring the bill. Didn't bother this year

As our casa is a couple of rows back from Via Italia we already have the great view - can live without the bad service.
