Looking forward to our holiday

Post by kennycapes »

coming out in 3 weeks time. Looks like it is getting nice and sunny out there. Last year on the forums it was talking about a bad smell in the square even though the work had been completed. Is this still affecting the square or has it passed now

Don't know about now Kenny but when I was there Sept/Oct last, I never noticed any smell at all :)

We were there last week and there was no smell in the square. I think it was last year when they were putting new drains in.
The weather was really hot and no rain at all. 8) Have agreat time we did :D

thanks, can't wait to get out there; its such a great place for a holiday. I heard about there being no entertainment in the square as the restaurants have not paid for it, any more news on this please.

Usually they start putting the stage up last week in May but there was no sign of it last week. I saw the man on stilts but thats hardly what you would call entertainment :!:
It was very quiet really for this time of year but i really like it like that.
As long as the sun shines and you can sit with a nice cold beer what more can anyone ask. Heaven 8)

Someone somewhere on the forum said that they were no longer doing entertainment in the square as the businesses no longer want to pay for it. As this is why they can charge slightly higher prices, I would hae thought that they should realise they will lose some custom.
