Our views on the most enjoyable & best value Golf Courses to play around CVO. I have not included the courses further East than Albufeira or Pennina, as they are in a totally different price bracket.

Is a MUST to join - Excellent discounts, even in High Season, you can recoup your annual Membership (Euros 45) in only two games !

1. Palmares

2. Golfe de Morgado

3. Silves - (Very good condition for a new course)

4. Golf dos Alamos ( At Morgado - New course - good greens)

5. Vale de Pinta

6. Gramacho

7. Alto

8. Boavista (No discount for Golf For Greys though)

9. Salgados - (Once the Tower Cranes have gone away & the new clubhouse is finished)

10. Vale de Milho - only par threes, but good fun and excellent Clubhouse for food.

What is the story with the golf membership Jeremy. I am thankfully not a grey yet but my friend is retired and he plays a bit of golf when down in his apartment. Can you tell me what is involved.

Hiya,
4 a golfer that is a younger kid on the block out in CVO a few times a year, the golf 4 greys is really worth looking in2.
It was a bit late 4 our last trip out there but will be getting organized 4 our next sourjorn in Sept.

Play the Pestana courses for 30 euros late afternoon.

We do and laways manage to get our 18holes in.
