Took my 5 year old son for a meal there last week. At the end of the meal they gave me a little glass of port and a similar little glass of juice for Toby - it made his evening! The food is also excellent and extremely consistent in quality and presentation.

Visited A Gale twice in the past couple of months but never been previously. Have to say the food is good and its very reasonably priced.
The mixed fish and Sole were really nice and not overpriced as some fish restaurants.

We have always rated A-Gale very highly, and were there twice last week. If anything the new management has improved it. The food is really good. The service excellent, and I have to say, Euro for Euro beats some of the so called "better " restaurants hands down.

Just returned after another glorious fortnight and as usual A Gale never fails to hit the spot. The Chateaubriand (sp?) steak was the best steak I've ever had and the vegetables are cooked to perfection. The service is friendly and efficient and so keenly priced. The sole is always a winner and I was assured by another dining guest that the salmon was top-notch.

My favourite by a country mile :D

The best place to be on your fist day of holidays.
It´s the best you can find. When you don´t book it can happen you don´t have room to get in and it will be very dificult for you to have such a good evening, as if you where there... :)

Make sure you go there!!!!!! :P
