Restaurant

Post by Jack »

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me the name of the restaurant next door to the Carvoeiro Bar? As you look towards the bar the restaurant is next door to the left. Is their number in the Freq. asked questions and if not has anyone got it.
In all our years of going to Carv we have found this restaurant one of, if not, the best restaurants in the town yet it never seemed to be very busy!
Does it get busier these days or do peeps stay away for a reason?
Thanks in advance to you all and I look forward to drinking far to much in your town in May (again.)

Superb restaurant - one of my favourites. We had the most superb christmas day meal there, and last time I took my son and my mother there - son was given a portable DVD to keep him quiet so the meal wasn't rushed, and we had a fantastic meal. You really feel you are being looked after. The only problem is that they don't take cards unless you have a Portuguese debit card, but there is a bank almost opposite fortunately.

I always book when I go there, even in the height of summer. But, as you say, it is often not full compared with some of the cheap restaurants and I think that is where you get your answer - most of the people who are prepared to spend a decent amount for a lovely meal are probably not in Carvoeiro at that time of year. However, I went there in March, and it was full with every table being used. All the other restaurants were lucky to have 2 or 3 tables in use.

 Love this restaurant, as you say not the cheapest around but the quality of food and service is well worth the few extra euros.
