 Hiya, We have been to this restaurant before it was taken over recently, it is between Cvo and our house. The setting is OK, on the road at the top of Benagil, I have heard they now do good basic grub. (Did have a problem some time ago with previous owner with a few getting tummy problems after eating there, but that should not be the case now.)

Just next door to it is the Brasserie Marina which is fantastic (bit expensive but worth every penny).

Rustico Restaurant

We've been eating there fairly regularly over the last 5 years or so. The new owners are making a difference and when we were there on Saturday it was busy. The food's fine and a sensible price.

Can't wait to sit outside and admire the view when we're back in July.

We shall try it out next week. Used to eat there regularly at lunchtimes many years ago when we came off the beach at Marinha. Even stayed there about 20 years ago!

 It would be nice to get some feed back on this place as we also used to use it but it seemed to go downhill a few years back, it would be nice if it was a good place to go to again.

Do let us know how you get on.

We ate there twice in early May.
Goats cheese and honey starter and monkfish kebabs were very good and the head waiter was very pleasant.

WE had a most enjoyable meal there last month. Reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

 I understand this restaurant is now in new hands (well the last year I think) and I am pleased that it is getting good reviews. As I said before we used to use it but after a few really bad meals we didn't go back. Will try it again this August.
