Does anyone know what has happened to Rascals?
Everytime I drive by it is closed and I haven't been able to find out what is going on.
Last time I saw Sergio and Rachel, they never mentioned closing in January.

Yup- OH has been several times and it has been shut. are they planning on re-opening?

There was a board outside on the road advertising sunday lunch, when we passed this morning. So maybe they're not totally closed.

No that's the thing. The board has been out since they suddenly shut.
But nothing has been happening.
Very weird.

Has anyone phoned to see what the answer machine has to say.

We met Serge and Rachel at lunch yesterday - business has been so dead during January evenings that they have been opening daytimes only.
Normal full service will be resumed in about two weeks and they wil be having a first anniversary party on the 24th.
They have promised to let me have more details later and I will pass them on.
Everbody happy now ?

You beat me to it. I had an e-mail from April yesterday saying the same thing!

So we'll all be there for the anniversary party!

... Gosh had us worried for a moment, the thought of not being able to have one of Rachel and Sergio's Sunday Lunches doesn't bare thinking about. We are back out on 30th March for 10 days and the Sunday lunch is a must have now...
