sofa beds

Post by tricky »

I know this question has probably been answered before and may be in the negative. but it would be really, really helpful to be able to choose a sofabed on line, pay for it and have it delivered to our place in CVO!
Yes I know its not the UK, but times are a changing so perhaps someone knows if there is.

Thanks
Tricky

If IKEA have anything which you like you can get it delivered to your door by the people on the following site :- www.AlgarveFurniture.com You pay up front for the catalogue price plus a delivery charge from the IKEA store in Seville.

I used them last year for beds and matresses and was satisfied with the service

Depends on your view of Ikea stuff but you can go to their uk website, get the stock numbers and e mail them to TiffanyHorner at
www.algarvefurniture.com
and she will give you a price for collecting from Seville and delivering to your door. I believe they do the trip on a monthly basis

I needed furniture urgently, and bought a leather sofa and chairs from Conforama (at Algarve Shopping) on Friday evening, which they delivered the next morning for me in Cvo.

Thanks everyone, I'll try IKEA and if not go to Conforama on our next visit. It sounds lazy I know but when we are out in CVO, furniture shopping is the last thing I want to do... :D

We were in England last November & ordered a large sofa unit from DFS, had it delivered to Direct Transport & they brought it over. Still cost less than buying the equivalent out here.

..Didn't realise DFS delivered abroad,!! great as we live in Holland and the furniture here ,in my opinion, can be way over the top in price for something half decent. I can remember Gary and I having to take 2 or 3 trips out to funish our apartment, looking around for best buys etc, does take time though and although it was great fun at the time, it was also pretty exhausting. We did find this site pretty good for information and welcomed people's input when we needed information.
Good luck

Blue, how much was the shipping cost (if you don't mind me asking) also have you contact details for Direct Transport?

Thanks
Trisha

Sorry for delay in replying.
Direct transport charge by the cubic meter so obviously it depends on the size of whatever you're having shipped. DFS don't deliver abroad as far as I know, they delivered to the Direct transport depot at Andover & they shipped it from there.

Word of advice - don't buy a second hand bed of any description from Maddi. :D
