I have just been looking at the photgraphs of the past carnivals. Can anyone tell me when the carnival is on in Carvoeiro so that we can perhaps plan our next visit around the carnival.
Carnival is on the same day as Shrove Tuesday in the UK - at the start of Lent. The children's fancy dress is normally on the Sunday before, with the main procession on the Tuesday - don't forget to beware of water bombs and flying eggs around carnival!
