gutted, I booked to go from Leeds for £80 where as half the journey to newcastle for same dates would have been £60 and better flight times......the reason I went in early was last year even early doors the prices from Newcastle were high and flight time poor.
The flights from Bristol do leave early but at least it gives you the best part of the day when you arrive. The flights back leave at around 11am which is perfect for getting back and beating the traffic.
Beware laserblazer, the flights have changed - now leave Bristol around midday and Faro around 3.30pm! More civilised but I liked the old teatime flight out of Bristol and evening return, even if it did mean late to bed. Somehow felt like you got an extra day!
Thanks Pabbers, I just checked and they still show as leaving a "sparrowf*rt" but I'll keep an eye on it. Do they email you if the flight times change or do they expect you to keep a look out?
There is still an early Bristol flight at weekends in high season with a late flight back otherwise most of the flights are around midday arrival departure.
Last time I checked (yesterday) it seemed that flights from all the London Airports (Stanstead/Luton/Gatwick) to Faro are not to be released till March 24th. Do others agree or have I misread something ?
