Re: Oceanico developments
Dennis,
It is obvious that you have not read my views which have included the development of your latest post. It is also obvious by your comments that you have not read Sam Sparkle's attachment that he so very kindly forwarded to this very forum for us all to read.
Frankly, I do not intend to answer any further of yours and one others very tiresome onslaught of description on developments in the Algarve and going over and over the same points, one can only ponder the need to keep doing so?
What really has annoyed me and I know several others on this forum who have well aired their disgust, is that considering we are in the year 2005, your incredible outlook on the female gender. Your outlook now including it would appear your description "Irish Ghetto". How many more prejudices do you have? Perhaps, I am being unfair in that you may not be English and therefore, do not quite understand that your comments may offend. .

The above posting was in reply to another posting which has been removed.
apologies
I posted something on this thread last night but deleted it five minutes later as my true feelings on the subject are mixed so I decided best not get involved.

Re: Oceanico developments
I did read the topic that Sam has posted, thats why i commented back. Yes thats my opinion. You dont have to answer anything on my posts and comments, doesnt help me much with your feedback. Whats with the outlook on female gender. This is rather soft. Try seeing outlook on female gender in the middle east. I dont want to argue about it, anyways, we are not touching the topic of this forum..nightrider wrote:Dennis,

Re: ghetto
You are obviously not Irish mate.
Ghetto to most means slum.
Village by comparison as you well know something totally different.
I doubt that many who have property in Carvoeiro be they English or any other nationality would look kindly on it being called a Ghetto, nor another posting I believe by the same hand, stating that Carvoeiro required more development in order make it more up market and thus refering to it as being down market.

The development is on the left hand side past the statue as you go up the hill past Boavista.
Construction is well underway ( seen last summer ) . will have another look this weekend.
I think the pictures are of the Villamoura development and are supposed to give an idea of what it will look like.
At 400,000 euros plus for an apartment it is certainly up there with Gramacho etc.
