Swimming pool

We have bought a property in Carvoeiro on a new complex, well approx 5 years old. The swimming pool as still not been built and we are constantly being told that the local council are not granting permission for swimming pools. Can anyone confirm this is the case.

Not True I know of at lest 3 new villas on an urbansation in CVO ( incl ) ours which have been granted liscences with pools in the past 12 months.

The pool was part of the original application could this make a difference ???

Thanks for the prompt reply. The pool was part of the orignal applicaion but had to be re-submitted after a change in design, we were told. We have been told permission was expected in October, but still no decision yet.
Whilst Im not over concerned, this as now dragged on for 2 years and promises never seem to come to fruitition and we keep getting excuse after excuse.

You need to check whether there really is a problem with the Camara or whether as has happened in some past developments the developers cannot/do not want to front up the cost of the pool after the cash flow from the sale of the properties has dried up.
