Definitely recommend it.
OK, its slightly more expensive than many others (and no credit cards as usual), but the food is carefully prepared by Ed, a Scot, in the Kitchen. His wife, Christina manages front of house. She is Portuguese, but has fluent English as a result of her marriage to Ed. This means she speaks English with the most intriguing Scottish-Portuguese accent.
They have special Winter menus, so cannot specifically recommend any dishes. Just ask what the specials are and that's always worth trying. Good for Fish, Meat and for strict Vegetarians by the way.
Enjoy
