Christmas

Post by biffa »

In principal (!), Christmas Day and Boxing Day, falling on Monday and Tuesday, shoud just be normal days here as they do not qualify as Bank Holidays.

There will be a few thick heads though after Christmas Eve so don't expect too much activity on Christmas Day!

The Home Page offer looks fantastic value. I'll be at home at Christmas but if I want dinner in a restaurant here the packages seem to start at around £75 plus the drinks on top, and the menus don't look that inspiring either. No connection with this restaurant, just miffed that I'll be watching The Great escape again instead of being in Caroveiro.

The offer does look really good but where is the venue?

Vale do Milo golf course. They do it every year and it's very popular. There's a link on this site somewhere with a map.

... I can think of a couple
Gary and I are booking for Xmas lunch at the club, it's looks real good value for money. We once had a great Sunday lunch up there a while back, so if that's anything to go by then we are in for a Xmas lunch treat :)

I hear Bar Charly will have live music again on Chritmas Day evening. Seemingly it was great fun last year, maybe its worth a visit.
