air con at Monte Dourado?

Post by SJ & RE »

We are staying in one of the Mimosa apts here at Monte Dourado for 11 nights from Sept 9th. Do they have air con or not?. If not is it going to be uncomfortably hot in the b'rooms at night?. Me 4got to ask when booking re air con and really hope it does have it cos weather so hot at the moment

air con at Monte Dourado

We have an apartment on the Monte Dourado complex and ours does not have air con - don't really need it. We just keep shutters closed and windows open

Monte Dourado

 Had a fantastic stay at Monte Dourado. Apt AO17 Mimosa was great. Everything you need, clean and spaciousand right out to the pool area and parking in front of the apt. This apt has a disabled parking bay so it was better for me.We had a good fan to keep the room cooler. I would have found it too much without a/c during the hotter months. A few of the owners we spoke to on the site said they were seriously considering putting a/c in cos they found it hotter this year.
We are going back to Monte Dourado next Sept again, however when we go back to Carveoiro in April next year we are lookinf for an apt with a heated outside pool cos it will be to cool in an unheated pool for me in April.
I thoroughly recommend the apts here in Monte Dourado for anyone out there that wants an apt to rent or buy.

:D We were staying in Rocha Brava end of August/September and we were extremely glad that the apartment had air conditioning - it was much needed then.

Only 8 weeks to go and we will be there again!

I cannot wait now - see what the weather brings then. Lokking at web cam pictures over the last few years it seems ok - some rain and some sun! Been at Xmas before so do not expect sky high temps like we experienced in August!

Will have to wait until August 2007 to visit again after the holiday in November - that will seem like a long haul but will be worth the wait!
