Hi Pete

What a pleasure to get a mail like this :D :D

May I suggest you initially contact Peta Birch at birch@mail.telepac.pt to check what sort of clothes etc. she requires.
When you come over you may want to contact Gambrinus or myself either for directions (it is a bit tricky to find) or if free we could accompany you.

Enjoy your holiday.

Roy

Roy, if you can post a list of the type/size of clothing required I am sure other members could also bring some clothes over. We certainly can at Christmas.

Hi Michael,

Clothes in all sizes for children from 0-15 are needed.

What is even harder to come by are good shoes and new underwear for children, so if anybody has a source for this, that would also be a great help.

Thank you for your support.

 I would be more than happy to bring some things out in November when we are out. I will only be in cvo for 4 days but maybe could pass a parcel on to Roy?

Gary and I are out in two weeks if there is a drop off point, we would be more than pleased to donate some children's clothes, specially the underwear, new little pants and sock are always needed and certainly not costly.

If somebody has some garage space to store the boxes, I can arrange a central place to drop it off and take it to the storage untill we can transport it to Albufeira.

I suppose shoes are the dearest item for children aren't they? I know from our grandchildren, they grow so quickly out of clothes and shoes. My oldest grandson 11, takes bigger size than me in shoes!!

I hope someone will volunteer a space/garage for collections..wish you luck with it G !

Wouldn't it be great if we all could contribute a little something, some socks, vests, pants etc..?
Brilliant cause and well done to all involved in its promotion..couldn't think of anything more worthwhile :)

 I so agree Ellie, when I think how lucky we are to have two homes and to be able to help our daughters with either their living expenses or study then I realise just how much we should also be contributing to such a good cause, I will definitely be bringing what I can out with me in November.

Roy, behave yourself.........

I also could bring a suitcase of girls clothes over but not untill March, so if there is still a drop off point I will gladly bring it with me.... Isnt there a charity shop up Monte cvo maybe they would take the clothes in?
