Places to visit whilst staying in Carvoeiro

Does anyone know of any good places to visit whilst staying in Carvoeiro ? we are coming over for 2 weeks in September, whilst we love Carvoeiro we always like to visit other places. We have already visited Silves and Monchique, but was wondering if anyone had other places equally as nice to visit. We will have a hire car so travelling about isnt a problem.

Faro Old Town, Estoi (brilliant IMHO) Roman Ruins at Milreu. A bit further away Tavira is worth a visit.

Go to WHSmith and buy a little Algarve guide book and you'll be spoilt for choice . . . . you'd better make it 3 weeks!
