Help the bomberios and have fun

Once the children are back at school , myself and some friends thought we would try and have a family fun night out , and try and raise a few euros for the bomberios in Lagoa. we came up with bowling , go carting , cinema etc , any more ideas or anyone interested the please reply. We will wait till after the tourist season , then maybe we can get some discounts for events to make it more appealing to more people thus hopefully raising some more money.

I see over on the Silves-Messines site, that theres a dinner being held (think its Sept 29th) to raise funds for the Bombeiros, who need a new ambulance?
Abut time the government got its finger out and contributed more? What happened to all the money from the EU I wonder?
During our time in Lagoa, we often visited the Bombeiros there, and at that time, most or all the equipment, appliances (fire engines) was donated from Germany.
But I loudly applaud all who work and raise money for them..where would they be without these caring folk?
