Can anybody recomment a good building company ( Need to build a Villa) in the western Algarve ??..appreciate to hear your experiences..

I am fairly new to this site so in answer to your ? on builders we have come across on recommendation from someone in Carveirio the following builder who we are hoping to use this year.

I've seen at first hand some of the properties thye've completed, and that are currently under construction and they are very impressive.
I must add that I know the owner personally (My cousin's husband) and also saw some of the work he undertook when he was overseeing the construction of South African highway's in the late eighties....
Before you ask I'm not on any kickback agreement with this reccomendation, although I do owe him a beer doing a free survey on my place in Boliquieme....
The company website also has a portfolio of their completed properties, pre-dominantly in Quint do Lago.

we recently decided to enlarge our villa, which is more a challenge than a new building as existing structure and other "details" could be different from the original plans (and it was like this indeed..... 
)
we decided to go with BRPM and they made a pretty good job, especially with all the alterations which showed up only when destroying parts of the existing structure.
and although there were a lot of items to change, they were only two weeks behind the original schedule.
and hey have a pretty good relationship to the local authorities which is sometimes a gift....
