Some friends went a couple of years ago and thought it good. It seems that they don't really bother to attract people in .
It always looks as though it's been abandoned.
Perhaps it's because of the long drive way.

i must admit it took us a whole week to venture in after walking past a number of times but what a surprise we had ,a lovely welcome from thomas and good food, that was several years ago and we go back everytime we are there.

 Is this on the road that joins up to the main 'restaurant hill' and the Church? Would it be busy in August? always on the lookout for somewhere different to go. Also would there be any vegetarien options?

thats right i think its rua das flores (apologies to anyone if this is the wrong spelling) its entrance is practically oposite the entrance to algar seco parque as for being busy in august all i can say is that we visit every september and we have never had anymore than three other parties along with us, it has six apartments attached but as ive said before always very quiet,as for vegetarian meals the menu is very small but all i know is that when you have veg there you must get aboutsix veg!!! all tiny portions iwould suggest you could pop in and ask thomas or enoi if they could cook something veggie for you ,hope you like jazz as played very quietly in background it is something different there

During our stay in 2006 it was our favourite restaurant in Carvoeiro,
but this summer (2007) it appears to be closed. Sorry to tell you. I`ve no idea, why they closed.
