Hi - I'm heading to Cvo for the first time this weekend for 2 weeks - family 6 - I bought two portuguese sims on ebay for about 12 euro total inc postage with no credit - got 2 vodaphone sims by return of post - i have two unlocked nokias - have tried these 2 sims out and they are picking up T mobile signal in Uk so hopefully they will work fine in Portugal
Need these for keeping cost down and RVing with rest of the family as I hate shopping and my better half loves it
looking forward to my break

I have a Nokia which was on my contract with Vodaphone. I changed phone company in UK to 3 and got a brand new phone which now has my old sim card in with my original phone number.
I looked on a site to unlock my old phone (which now does not have a sim card) but I thought it said I had to put in the phone number of the phone to unlock it. Well it doesn't have a number yet.
My idea is to get a pay as you go sim card in August when we come out, so basically........How do I unlock the phone??
Any help would be gratefully received.......Ta
Some years ago I wanted to unlock my phone to use a Portuguese chip and the code was given to me by the service provider (then One-to-One) for a charge of about 15gbp.
There used to be plenty of people in the UK advertising phone unlocking but if you don't find anyone ask the people whose contract you had when you first bought the phone. If you change providers and the phone works though it would seem that it is not locked.
