weather
can someone tell me what the weather is like in October please, coming for a wee holiday in October and keen to know what it is likely to be like
thanks.
thanks.
I guess its difficult to predict at any time but we went to CVO last October and we had two mornings rain and the rest of the week sunny. Temperatures ranged from 22 to around 28 - I got sunburned. Pack your cossy (we swam in the sea every day) but take a sweater for the evenings. We had a great time - in any case we all agreed we'd sooner be rained on in Carvoeiro than at home! Great as well for getting around as nowhere's too busy but everywhere's open. You might want a look at this site http://wwwa.accuweather.com. - you'll need to search for Carvoeiro. We found it helpful. Bank manager willing, we'll be there in October too. Enjoy your stay.

Weather is less reliable in October than the summer months - we have had a week of glorious sunny days (t-shirts and shorts weather) with cooler evenings(jacket/fleece needed) and just the odd shower at night but we have also had a week of quite mixed weather - some sunny days, two days of rain and a couple of cloudy days. When the sun is out it is lovely and hot, especially if there isn't much wind, but if the sun is not out, it can be cool, even chilly in the wind. So ......... about as predictable as England - just warmer overall ! Don't know if this helps or not? Best of luck !
