Want a dessert?

If you want a dessert but can't find anything on the menu do yourself a favour - walk to the square and visit Palacio do Cone Ice-Cream shop, the ice creams are really good but even better are the Crepes.

The last time I bought a crepe was in Leicester Square, London in January and it cost me a ridiculous amount (I could have bought a few dozen eggs and kilos of flour for less!). Also, it didn't taste good!

Not so in Palacio do Cone - the crepe was cheap (2.4 Euro's for Nutella and cream), very tasty and just filled that sweet tooth hole! Much better than a nasty frozen restaurant dessert!

Stop teasing us Skeftons...what wouldn't I give for a Mango & Vanilla cone right now (very hot here in Lincs..but nice breeze)..
Blackberry used to be my favourite, but now its M&V for me

But you need the Carvoeiro 'ambience',while you're eating them don't you? Sitting on seawall, or 'neath shade of sun brolly..toes in the sand, sound of water lapping.............

Have to admit that I have a real weakness for icecream..and when in Carvoeiro, a Cone becomes a daily 'must'!!
However, in trying to trim down the waistline I have, in recent times, forgone the 'Cream & Syrup' topping...and always stick to just 2 scoops!
If I do go a day without then, I give in and after an evening meal, I succumb to one of 'Fatima's' fabulous chocolate mousses in Colombos.
But I think Icecream is definitely my favourite dessert of all

and the Palacio's cones are the tops
