I dont know which was more funny the typical reply from the guest or Maddi's reply (HIC!!), had you been at the black russians again maddi?
Hows your head this morning are you feeling a little bit delicate? You know you have to do it all again for the England rugby game today and you have to start earlier cos it starts at 1 o'clock.
You go girl

Hi Loretta et al

I have spent the last few minutes editing all of last night's posts so they have no evidence of being alcohol induced

Anyway of course I will be watching the Rugby, unlike some I am always delighted to support my national team/representative in any endeavour - as I may have said in one of my recent ramblings - whether at any given time it is England, Britain or as with the Tennis and Golf, when I have occasion to support Europe.

Probably won't be drinking though 1pm is too early an start, especially on a school night (as the expression goes!)

Well it would seem i should eat my words about England, as finally, the boys dun good. Quite a good performance i thought, against what can only be described as cheats! That Alpay is in for so much stick when e finally gets a game for Villa! Role on Portugal 2004!

i am still yawning...if you really want to write about football then why not say something about fc porto or sporting lisbon..you know their portuguese teams which i thought would have been of interest to those visting a portuguese web site.

as for england supporters coming here....anyone with any sense will close their villas....lets hope their base will be somewhere away from the algarve

Yes please Guest, please lets us discuss the roles of FC Porto and Sproting Lisbon players, I am sure you have masses of intelligent and useful things to say, unfortunately we cannot promise to keep Euro 2004 away from the Algarve on the grounds that one of the stadiums is close to Loule and of course I am sorry that we can't promise not to help local businesses prosper from the staging of an international football event (which I understand you imagine to have been thrust and forced upon them)- however in the meantime I am really looking forward to your intelligent, considered and thoughtful discussion around portugese players

Maddi

p.s. shall we start with Figo?

being a local, running a business, living, talkingand mixing with Potuguese I can assure you that most people are looking forward to the football next year and the bussiness it brings to the Algarve. I even heard someone say that they hope England orGermany get games down here. Roll on 2004

I somehow expect with my average levels of intelligence that I shall be able to avoid any contact with that miniscule minority to whom you refer, rather I shall be hoping that the local economy will benefit greatly from the free and joyful spending of the the vast majority who will bring both money and good will to Portugal.

You seem very familiar with this rather repulsive, disgusting, tiny minority, but I understand that if you lie down with dogs . . . .

Dear Guest seeing as the footie topic has had 40 replies it seems as if there are plenty of people interested in the topic. I'll give you a little hint if there are people replying to a topic it generally means it is of interest to them, If you want to start your own topic that will be of interest to yourself and others then please do, cos at the moment you are just making yourself look very silly with your comments
