maximes , sullys (breakfasts) , stone steaks , the pancake/ice cream parlour next to sullys , monte carvoeiro sq bars/restaurants , entertainment at the square in the evening .

i hope these are all still available too enjoy when we visit again in august !!

I don't know what is happening in the square - other thread suggest that sewerage works still a problem. Would be good for someone to confirm exactly what the problem is because I have recommended Cvo. to friends who are wanting to book but since reading about problems/terrible stink in the square. I can only assume sitting outside Grand cafe is impossible now especially in hot weather?

We were there a couple of weeks ago and the smell quite strong, but only right in the square. Lizzie

This was very bad while we were there, and spoilt the view as a large area is cordoned off. We enjoyed the square at Ferragudo in the evening. Sadly Silves is in the same position with major building work, although the square there was still lovely
