Anyone see last nights programme?
It was on Portugal's Silver coast ..now I don't know this area at all but it did look rather nice..does anyone have experience of going there?
Prices seemed very good. The couple who were looking for a large house to turn into hostel looked at the first one(near to coast,can't remember name of place

)...
I know they looked at one in Figueiro da Foz(is that right name?)
it was lovely, with 5 bedrooms,couple bathrooms and a self contained apartment = £188,000
Our 3 bedroomed bungalow is almost that value here in Lincs...makes you think....
trouble is, my hearts in Algarve

yes its much better value than down south..but I also hear that if you cross the border to the costa luz its much cheaper than the algarve and from what people tell me much cheaper to boot

Not too sure that the costa de luz is that cheap anymore, some one I know visted, ayamonte, isla d canela and other parts of the region and ended up buying nr TAVIRA( this was in Oct 2005 )
Better value and much smaller developments.
