no speak the language

Post by j.a. norton »

:?: the time is drawing very close where the norton familly will arrive at CVO, being typically anglo-saxon british type people none of us speak Portugese and probrably have not bothered to look at the phrase books we bought when we chose our destination. How will we survive ? are the locals friendly to our types. we are a very gentle polite clan who want nothing more than peace & quiet, good food, good beers, a few riske jokes and enjoy a singalong to go with it.

In that case you are going to the perfect place for you. Enjoy :!:

However if you can spend some time with those phrase books it will pay dividends and is always worth it, if only to help with the menus. :)

8) i have read them a bit really, but more to do no the flight over, my main reason for asking is some parts of europe will look down on you if you do not speak local and others will not let you try whilst they try out there english its finding a balance i spose.
still cant wait for this saturday to put it all to the test. :P
