Némesis, deusa grega da Vingança que, segundo uma versão da mitologia, se transformou em gansa para escapar às perseguições de Zeus. Este metamorfoseou-se em cisne e conseguiu unir-se a ela. Némesis pôs um ovo, que uns pastores recolheram e deram a Leda e do qual saíram Helena e os Dióscoros. Némesis é a divindade encarregada, como as Erínias, de castigar o crime, mas frequebtemente abate toda a «desmesura» manifestada por um mortal. Good enough?
