Ahem 'scuse me why would you think I went to a convent school?

Well actually for my formative years whilst living abroad I did indeed attend a convent school, I just wondered how you guessed

How odd. My ex-wife had five boyfriends after we split up - all called David! I suppose it was safer in bed calling out just the one name!

It is a well known fact that the Convent Girls after all those years of being locked away quietly, try to make up for lost time by kicking the habit. Problem is though, they make so much noise about it

If you right click on a posted picture and select properties you'll find where images are hosted, strangeley Rosy's image is in the same photobucket album as another regular poster taking part in this discussion, some teasing going on methinks :P

Rosy, it was not I who picked you up on your spelling - it was another guest.
I am too sophisticated to draw attention to that sort of small detail.
I like to think of myself as an internationalist. The bigger picture - you know. I travel to places like the Algarve for goodness sake.

Yes, in answer to your question - it will be verrrry cold. That is why I think you should stay with me as I have a very warm house and the central heating is reliable unlike a hotel's boiler for example!
I am very much in to the arts - yes. My brother is a bit of a piss artist , my father was an artisan and I watch Panorama. Do I qualify?
So, we meet in The Oxford Bar ( Inspector Rebus's haunt) in the city centre and I will then proceed to take you to one of Edinburgh's finest dining restaurants - The Witchery by the Castle. That is really going to impress you!
Then we head home for say 8 p.m. ( I'm an early bird) for little britain and well - let's see what sort of 'art' you like. How about thursday the 12th? David

David,
I prefer if you don't mind the "oloroso" and I never eat prior to 8.30 for 9.00pm and whilst I thank you for your very kind offer of accommodation, I shall be staying with a friend of mine's family who will be up from London at their castle a day or so prior to my arrival. Which of course by its very nature has more rooms than "hot dinners".
There is one thing that I have to say which gives me slight concern, I cannot stand that dreadful person who makes me sick everytime I look at him, in so far as that televsion thing entitled Little Britain and for me watching the magic lantern is not my idea of a nice evening. So sorry I did warn you that I do really like the arts.
So shall we say around 8.30pm for 9.00pm.
By the way having eaten and slept at the Witchery, not bad but had better. I cannot make the 12th, however, my diary for 13th is ok.Don't forget to let me know what your wearing.
