While checking out PT's site I found this. If you are a customer of these providers, you have free Hotspot access.

Does this mean there is a general username and password to use? If so, do you know what it is? Also how about other connection details?

My understanding of this is that if you are a subscriber to the listed service providers, PT will give you the access information (security code) to use the hotspot services. You must have a Wireless adapter in your laptop to use this feature. Just contact PT's free Customer Support Centre at 800-200-181 or look up: http://www.ptwifi.pt/Default.aspx
