I thought we were supposed to turn up hours early for 'security' purposes. Has that requirement been dropped?
Evidently we have missed a lot whilst we have been away!! However getting back onto subject.

We still went through the usual palaver of checking in our bags, we just didn`t have to queue for ages and we turned up less than 40 minutes before the flight!! Definitely something to consider for future flight bookings. It´s just a shame that it is not done for the return leg of the journey!

I booked a trip in March via Gatwick at £95 inclusive and just checked it's now £60 inc. What's the chances of getting the difference refunded and how?

So what happens when guest who booked BA finds it's cheaper and won't refund the difference. Anyone had this problem (I hate them) and especially that pizza rubbish they give you on lunchtime and evening flights. Take a health inspector if your flying with them!

I totally agree with you Mike, as previously stated, not impressed with BA at all.

Only flown with them a few times and wasn't overly impressed..
I'm used to EasyJet now, and always find the crew nice, friendly & helpful :)
But also looking forward to sampling RyanAir,when they get going at Humberside next year!(2006 I mean)

Suppose you booked a flight for £60 and then it when up to £95. Would you send them a cheque for £35?

Re PM's post. No I would not offer to pay the difference on the grounds that all air lines encourage you to book early for the best fares so I would expect it to increase. Some guests to our villa last July had the same experiance with Monarch Scheduled a month after they booked. They refunded the difference straight away.

According to Sunday Times today BA is in trouble over its poor maintenance record. Lists 4 or 5 in air problems.
