I would love to have one of those teddy bears. I would explain to him gently that it won't hurt at all when he goes in the microwave or the freezer, and I will cuddle him, once he gets out to make up for it.

Evening Ellie, Bruxinha and Sharen. Agreed tiled floors in the winter months can be a problem - the cold seems to work up through your feet to the rest of your body. Any item of footware helps and I just use an old pair of flip flops left from the summer. Makes a great difference. :D

I agree entirely with your thoughts about T shirts and shorts. Who indeed in their right minds would wear them in similar temperatures in the UK.

You're so right about that Dave..the cold working its way through the body brrrrr!..and I was really glad of those big furry 'yeti' slippers!
Living in our Lagoa apartment..I well remember huddling over the portable gas heater on damp November evenings..
never knew of much central heating around then!
What I do recall is not wearing trousers until late October..but even at Christmas it can turn out warm during the day and you could get away with wearing shorts in a sheltered spot on the beach. And Ive seen folk swimming in sea at that time too!
But we're not all as brave as Homme Poco
