Doea anybody know the whereabouts of the local jobcenter\dole office,I have feeling it is somewhere in Lagoa.

Nope, it´s not,it´s in Portimao.If you go down the main pedestrian street of shops (from the u/g carpark),go left at the crossroads,on the left about 50m.
The social security is not so easy (or it wasn´t for us),but it´s easy to find in Lagoa,just behind the finances.
All the people were very helpful in both locations.
Hope this proves helpful to some.
