Mrs Cardigan wrote:Dear mr KissFM I was wondering whether you would be interested in interviewing me for your snazzy show?(you have a very sexy voice 8) )
My pet subjects are knitting of course and night clubs. I think the two go so well together ,as I'm always creating delicious little knitted numbers that show off my ample curves and I thought maybe I could make a suggestion or two, give advice to the ladies how to get the most out of my Fair Isle and 'Knit two, drop one' patterns ?
Those special little places, like Jailhouse and Officina are just the right spots to sport my daring knitwear, after dark 8)
When the spotlight shines on my luminous lime green affair with lightning zip, the place fairly sizzles! :P
But then again, I could prove just too much for you and the listeners

Dear Mrs Cardigan........How sweet you think I sound sexy......if only the face matched the voice........this could be the reason I work in radio and not TV.
The only problems I can see with having you on the show is the back ground sound of clicking needles while we talk, and that Bruxy may cast a spell on me for you stealing her lime light, but thanks for the offer.....

STRAIGHT TALK the Sunday live phone in show from 6pm to 8pm with Phill Gilbert on Kiss FM 101.2

Bruxinha wrote: Hmmm....music. I wrote to duuude (the designer) about it today but haven't heard back from him yet. I sort of liked the idea of some eery (sp?) music as background and then have some links to other music and bands. I am warning you though I LOVE some quite heavy stuff.
Bruxy, allow me to introduce you to Dr. John The Night Tripper....

I could only find a sample of Gris-Gris Gumbo Ya Ya, but I think it would make for great background music on your site.

BINGO!

Here we go......
3rd set...6th song.

What I have in mind is re-edeiting the song and looping the female vocals.

Yer, it's a double act or nothing Cardigan woman or I might stick those needles somewhere nasty.

No probs Diggger...glad you asked that question in case this topic ended up inane chit chat.

Dearest Cowboy. Interesting choice. My ex was a big Dr John fan (that wasn't the reason he's my ex though)...do you think it might just put a few people off of ever looking in again though? This matter certainly needs careful consideration. I might have to consult my good friend the bald, psychotic dwarf on this one.

Things? Things?!
I hope youre not referring to the late (and much lamented) Mr C,who,as you well know, departed this life due to a terrible knitting tragedy
I could be persuaded to come along mr KissFM( that name has me in ecstasy  ) but the intimacy and closeness of the studio could over excite me and the old needles might go 19 to the dozen..maybe a couple of silencers could be attached d'you think?
But I could give you the lowdown on Jailhouse,Kissy (I hope you dont mind me being so familiar?) There are women there who have no finesse,no delicasy or savoir faire, unlike my quiet inhibited self, who never ventures into such inviting and tempting surroundings without at least one ribbed ,clinging cardy or silvery mohair shawl (draped around my magnificent alabaster shoulders)
This Bruxhina woman could be trouble though !All that heavy rock stuff!  I have more refined tastes.Do you happen to have any Tom Jones? Sex Bomb or You can keep your hat on? that sort of thing?
Cleopatra Cardigan ( My eye make-up makes me a deadringer for Liz Taylor 8) :P )

Bruxinha wrote:Abu Dhabi...is that you out there Thunderbolt? :? :D Hello mate...what's going down over there? Picked yourself up a rich Sheik and a few camels yet?

Sorry Trisha, but are we speaking at cross purposes? I meant I had put something about Ellie on my web site blog...not you...YET!! That will be after Christmas when I can post some pictures of us binge drinking on vinho on the site and worse.

Digs matey...yep, the site for Portuguese companies is www.dgrn.mj.pt. On the right hand side you will see “Teste a Confundibilidade (RNPC)” click on this and on the left hand side you will see “poderá inserir, no campo baixo, o nome de uma pessoa colectiva, para confirmar a sua existência”; insert the name you want to search and click “procurar”. You might have to try varieties e.g. name with spaces, name joined together, with or without lda in the title etc. If after trying this you still do not find the company you are looking for, click on “contactos” on the home page and you will see “Serviços Externos da DGRN”. Under this you should see “Conservatórias” and “Registo Nacional de Pessoas Colectivas”. Click on this and their contact details will appear. You can then obtain more information but you may have to send a cheque for €10,00 to do this. If the name comes up it ususally has a code with it called a CAE and if you click on that it tells you what business they are in. Hope that helps. PM me if you have any problems but you should be alright cos you fala português I believe.

As for Mrs Cardigan. Do you fancy a double act?

Oops that comes for sneaking a post in the office without 500 other people looking over my shoulder, not reading the post properly!!! Vino will be on ice in a couple of weeks Bruxi - in the new kitchen
