It should be simple:
Hence my comment that I cannot make it happen "despite the clear instructions" - oh well keep running Opera and Firefox in parallel until I have the time and patience to set up all the individual folders again.

If anyone out there had any other experience of Opera and can offer some advice that would be good - definitely not about to use its' mail client anytime soon, the idea of setting that up from scratch if it doesn't import fills me with dread!!

I would presume everyone (well MC really as he was the only one to reply) has lost interest by now but if anyone else should ever have the same problem trying to import Firefox bookmarks into Opera as I did then do the opposite ............... open Firefox and export the bookmarks :lol:

Glad you've sorted it out. :)

I really like Opera - it is far better than IE and better than Firefox in my opinion.
