I think both Mestre Maco and Makro sell them - we bought one last year but I can't remember where it came from!

You are not going to like this.

It is an item related to clothes washing, specifically drying. You know, stuff that girls do.

Bruxinha, it is a washing line that is shaped like an upside down umbrella that you set into the ground, we call it a whirlygig as it goes round and round when the clothes are drying.

As a male HP presumed the females would know more about the subject than the blokes

Has yours got an engine? Ours doesn't go round and round and would only do so if the wind blew more on one side than the other so one side was sheltered.

Been without washing machine 3 weeks tomorrow -tomorrow morning is when the guy with the spare parts is supposed to arrive (please God!)..
so each morning Ive been up to me elbows in soap suds trying to keep pace with the laundry..
a whirlygig has been the least of my worries
