 Nearly forgot about that Roy !!
End of British summertime (is that a joke :? -we're still waiting--)
We gain 'extra hour' but it starts to get dark earlier- about 4, 4.30pm? :(

You shouldn't complain Martin - the clock is right for 6 months of the year - not bad for Portugal.

Interesting post from Nightrider on misspelt words like 'tommorrow'

Just a question Martin (and I normally like you) which is your preferred clock setting - GMT, BST, EET, etc............

............ and to be honest who comes on cvo.com to check the flipping time, use a watch, or Sky (sadly my preference for finding out an accurate time but then I don't have a life - jeez I am posting on here on a saturday night!!)

ok answering myself but this is really quite funny - my first post on the forum as opposed to the message board looked like this:-
I was really happy to see Jo's post, totally relevant and the sort of thing that people looking to visit Carvoeiro like to know. After the some of the topics that have been covered over the last couple of weeks I was beginning to question why I visit the site each day but this was just perfect - wholly owned as her opinion but took you back there for those us who visit and gave ideas to those that are perhaps due to visit for the first time.

Well done Jo, totally in what I believe is the spirit of this forum Smile
How sanctimonious was I??????????? Plus isn't this an argument which rages to this day?

delighted to hear you like me (normally? whatever do you mean!)...as for that clock setting..it surprises me because I understand you can get your computer checking in with an atomic clock (accurate to xxxxx million ) so why a clock on here should be one hour wrong...well its a bit poor aint it guv

I had my pc checking itselfagainst that atomic clock for a while but it bought me all sorts of rubbish/spam/pop ups/virus now as I say I rely on Sky but hell nothing in my life needs to be that accurate!!! Afterall when you are the boss who is going to tell you that you are late!!
