Carvoeiro view from satelite !

hi guest I have a Toshiba Satellite M30X-111 wide screenlaptop, any good?? I also have Norton which I think may be blocking it, but the message I get is that it it is unable to connect to the Google Earth servers to activate the account, then an error message c000000b

Nope, still can't get it to work. Have now emailed google earth to see if they can help.....

Hi Lesley Jean,
I would be interested to hear what Google has to say about your problem as I cant get it to work either! I downloaded it a couple of months back and it worked fine but one day I clicked on the upgrade option and it never worked, so I uninstalled it , reinstalled and still nothing - I just get 'performing google earther server log in' and then it does nothing after that.

Thanks nightrider, it is just so frustrating when I can't get it to work...I just might take you up on the offer when next out. You are good with laptops and computers then???? Am I right in thinking you are an IT specialist?? I just might bring my laptop if so.

If the laptop belongs to your employer I would suggest speaking to your IT Helpdesk. They should be able to either solve your problem, tell you the full specification or confirm that software they have installed deliberately blocks what you are trying to do. You might also not have sufficient user rights to change some aspects of configuration, e.g. disabling pop-up blockers, reconfiguring anti-virus software or firewalls.

Nope, laptop is mine, I don't work for anyone else but me. I am just not up to scratch with all the ins and outs of computers yet. Will have to get a man who does!

Can't Steen host a copy of the picture on the CVO server and provide a link from the home page? It does after all fit in with the theme of the site and many prospective visitors would be interested to see the village.

I'm sure that if it was on this server then all those users that can reach other pictures on this site should be able to reach it without the problems that some are currently experiencing.

Copyright should be ok if acknowledged correctly.
