Cot Hire

My family and I are stopping in Carvoeiro from the 26th Aug till 9th Sept I was wondering if anyone had a travel cot/baby gates for hire during those dates to save carting them with us.

We are renting a villa next door to Rocha Brava.

Have a word with the management agent, they would normally supply these but not sure about the gates. Mike

we rented the villa privatly and they do not offer any child facilities unfortunatly.

i have one cot and high chair at our villa but can only lend you this from 1st sept through to the 9th., is this any help for you. kind regards rosie.

Thanks for your very kind offer Rosie but we really need something for both weeks. We had arrange to borrow all the things we needed but unfortunatly last week they decided to go away themselves and are taking their cot.

Looks like were going to have to take ours from home. I dont know why they call them travel cots its big, bulky and not very light either.

Dave, just googled travel cot light pop up and there is a good website which has Samsonite 2 types - one for older baby looks cool - pop up pod type thing, even looks ideal for the beach to keep insects and sun off.............wish they had these when I used to lig my heavy travel cot up and down motorways. Larger one £45 - doesnt seem too expensive for Samsonite?
