Limescale

Hello

Does anyone know a product I can use to get rid of some limescale in the toilet. The Portuguese name would be very helpful.

Coca Cola (not kidding, works like a charm)

Otherwise try Harpic (also suitable for unclogging drains, very aggressive stuff)

Funny, I just read that this morning in an e-mail from a friend i.e. putting coca-cola down the loo...apparently it has a PH of 2.8...pretty acidic then!!! I also read that it can dissolve a bone in 2 days and a nail in 4...no wonder it is bad for your teeth

Its true, a mate of mine told me that during his time in the military, they used Coca Cola to clean and de-rust the artillery cannons.

Try this:

Take a glass, fill it with Coca COla, lay a rusty nail across the top of the glass without it touching the fluid - the rust should be gone from the part over the glass within 48 hours.
