We've just seen news of bad fires in Spain. Hope the Algarve is spared this time. Does anyone have any latest news for our area?

Central Spain we heard on Euro.news...east of Madrid......14 firefighters dead Graham !

Macs just informed me its 17 firefighters now..the fire 'surrounded' them..terrifying

really sad news, and it all started with a barbeque, people sometimes don't realise the dangers of open fire on a forest, only needs a spark specially now that the forests are so dry

Algarve not too bad for fires compared with Central and Northern Portugal.

And they'd been told not to do that because it was very dangerous!!! They did it anyway. It's amazing.
