Carvoeiro sweet Carvoeiro
Long time no read and certainly no type... I see that the site has developed quite a lot since my last "visit". Just like Carvoeiro itself. Man, they are developing projects everywhere! It's growing and growing... However, it is very peculiar that the authorities who want so badly to be acknowledged not only as Portuguese but European, continue to disregard the community's needs. For example, they are permitting constructions all over the place, but where are the (obliged) green spaces?
Yet another annoying local feature... Oh well, we'll get used to it right? Maybe someday we can all sit in our beautiful villas and apartments to enjoy a fine wine with a mask and a bottle of oxigen.....
Where will this end?????

To Rule
...to rule is to foresee........I second Melginha's remark that a lot changes over the years and too fast.....places we used to love and appreciate because of their 'natural cohesion' change into lots of mass-tourism....Like soil becomes poor when too many plants grow on it....so does a village when too many men crowd up in the place..... Every place has it's capacity for a certain amount of people....trying to increase capacity it will be at cost of something else in this case....nature.......
